After much anticipation, La Salle has finally announced their complete 2015-16 basketball schedule.
It will be a tough schedule as they take on many strong non-conference opponents along with playing in a tough Atlantic 10 conference. With eleven televised games, the Explorers are in for an exciting season.
They open up the year against Towson, who is coming off a 12-20 record on November 14th.
Their first City 6 game will be against Penn on November 25th. It should be an interested matchup, as both teams are trying to get back on track after disappointing seasons.
After battling with Hofstra at Gola Arena, the Explorers will then face Drexel on December 5th.
The next three games will be hardest for La Salle all season. They start by facing a nationally ranked Villanova squad on December 13th and then NIT runner-up Miami (FL) at the Palestra. Nine days later, they travel to Florida to square off with Florida Gulf Coast, who was 22-11 last season.
After a long stretch of nine games in January, two of which are against City 6 schools -- Temple (January 20th) and Saint Joseph’s (January 23rd) -- they open up February against VCU on the 3rd.
The Explorers then finish the season with all Atlantic 10 conference games, one of which will be against Saint Joseph’s.
The A-10 tournament will span from March 9th to March 13th at the Barclays Center in New York City.
